Ian Faigley

Ian is Senior Manager of Partnerships & Communications.

Ian manages the Forum’s communications efforts. In this role he liaises with partner staff and internal teams to fulfill needs such as stories, press releases, marketing materials and newsletters. Ian also supports the Ready by 21 National Partnership and provides guidance and resources for partner staff. Lastly, Ian manages incoming inquiries on the technical assistance capacities of the Forum and the Ready by 21 National Partnership.

Ian joined the Forum in October 2007. Before coming to the Forum Ian helped found and expand the Council for Nonprofit Innovation, a think tank focused on improving the performance of organizations in the nonprofit sector through thought leadership, training and consulting. Ian also spent two years as a Program Instructor with the Close-Up Foundation, a teaching organization focused on civic education, and one year as a graduate assistant at the Charterhouse School in Surrey County, England. In 1998, Ian graduated from the American University in Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on legislative politics and grassroots lobbying. While in college, Ian co-captained the American University lacrosse team and continued his playing career after graduation in New Orleans and England.
