Ready by 21 Partnership Featured at AASA's National Conference on Education

The American Association of School Administrators (AASA) featured the Ready by 21 Partnership in a major session at their National Conference on Education on February 19-21 in San Francisco, CA. Merita Irby facilitated a panel discussion with Ready by 21 Partners, including Donna Klein, President and Founder of Corporate Voices for Working Families, Nina Sazer O’Donnell, Vice President of Education for United Way of America and AASA field superintendent Jim Halley, 2007 Superintendent of the Year for the State of Rhode Island.

Dozens of school superintendents from across the country had the opportunity to learn more about the Ready by 21 approach and its potential to strengthen their school/community partnerships that make a difference for children and youth. AASA and the Forum also facilitated a half-day workshop to kick off the AASA Ready by 21 School System Leaders Peer Workgroup, a Ready by 21 Learning Group of nearly 20 school superintendents from across the country.
